Colonial fish camp was absolutely amazing in every way! The food was SO GOOD!!!! And you get so much food!!! The service was out of this world! So friendly!! We went for the first time and they talked and treated us like family. Truly an amazing experience and we will be going back and recommending this place to everyone!

I absolutely love this little place. Today was my first time here. My daughter had the kids perch and I had the perch with shrimp. I was very skeptical about getting the shrimp because it seems like restaurants around this area don’t know what butterfly shrimp really are. I informed my waiter that I was skeptical and just to provide excellent service he went to the back and got me 2 pieces of shrimp to just make sure I was satisfied. The food was delicious and I really enjoyed the hospitality. Overall great service and food. Well worth the price!

Looking for a Seafood restaurant before I left town in Blacksburg after spending months working there I found Colonial Fish Camp don't let the name fool you it's more like a restaurant than anything but I'm glad I decided to go there instead. If I had only knew about it sooner dang! They load you down with your money's worth and it was great Seafood.

Terrible!!! Everything was cold. Pearch was cool, so not tasty at all. The shrimp was cold, crunchy, and over cooked. Hush puppies were a joke. Skinny and overcooked. Fries ok but cool. Once upon a time the food was readability good. Eating out is too expensive to get something like this. I hope that I can find a decent fish camp in the area to go now that this one has barely eatable food. It was take out and I picked it up at the exact time they said it would be ready. No excuse for this waste of good money.

It is a great place for fish. Very simple interior, and the atmosphere is sparten. But the food more than makes up for it. Best tartar sauce I ever had. Can't wait to go back.

Great food and really good service. Very clean and neat . Friendly staff and friendly people I enjoyed the food and the conversation with several of the patrons. Food is prepared fresh as you order comes out hot and delicious. Take a look at the menu I sure there’s something you’d like.
